Education for Innovation
London - 8 May
We hosted an interactive panel discussion to debate the role of the education system in helping to develop the skills and attitudes required for innovation. Can the formal education system learn from what's going on beyond the school gates?
Panellists included David Bell, Permanent Secretary, Department for Education and Skills; Richard Garner, Education Editor, the Independent; David Hargreaves, Associate Director, Specialist Schools Trust; and Shaa Wasmund, CEO of Bright Station Ventures and Channel 4 Presenter. Jonathan Kestenbaum, Chief Executive of NESTA chaired the discussion.
