This event, for Crucible participants and anyone with an interest in interdisciplinary research, was hosted by NESTA CEO, Jonathan Kestenbaum, with a keynote speech from Professor Sir Keith O'Nions, Director-General, Science and Innovation, Office of Science and Innovation, DTI.

Crucible 2007 is a programme for early-career researchers, designed to provide time and space for participants to develop the wider context of their work and share ideas with researchers from other disciplines.
