The Low Carbon Building Programme has been extended until March 2011.
The Low Carbon Building Programme was originally due to finish in March 2009, however the Energy Saving Trust has recently finalised arrangements to extend the programme through until March 2011.
This means householders have just over a year to apply for a grant for installing microgeneration measures within their home under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme householder stream. The stream will remain open until June 2010 or funds are fully allocated.
Public sector buildings (including schools, hospitals, housing associations and local authorities) and charitable bodies can still apply to phase 2 of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP2). Applications are being accepted now until the end of June 2009.
Have you had experience of applying, or trying to apply, to either the householder or public sector and charitable bodies strand of the LCBP? How have you found it - what worked well / not so well?
