Join us at Just Ageing, where we'll be discussing the role that radical innovation can play in public service design and delivery.
Do you have an interest in public services and their role in meeting the needs of an ageing population? If so, why not attend the Equality and Human Rights Commission's seminar on public services and ageing, part of their Just Ageing series on 30 July 2009.
I'll be delivering a keynote speech, assessing the role that radical innovation can play in public service design and delivery, and where it needs to be harnessed more fully.
I will draw on the lessons from the Lab's Age Unlimited programme, which targets people in their fifties and sixties to find new ways to extend employment and to facilitate transition into other roles and interests in order to improve well-being.
The programme will also build understanding of how to involve prospective users of new services in the development of these innovations.
