re:act

re:act is an innovative web service being developed by OneWorld UK. It will connect people with the most relevant opportunities for giving based on their digital browsing habits.

Website: www.oneworldgroup.org/

re:act will be launched by OneWorld UK later this year. It's a service which will analyse people's web browsing habits and then use this information to suggest volunteering and giving initiatives which are ultra-relevant to them. It will encourage them to share these initiatives with their peers via top social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

re:act is designed to amplify the ongoing work of the many civil society organisations that are dedicated to boosting giving opportunities in the UK. This system will surface those organisations and initiatives that are happening in our local communities that might not otherwise be recognised by mainstream media.

The Award: OneWorld has been awarded £50,000 to develop and pilot an initial model of re:act.
