Blue Dots is a new social currency being used to reward people for doing good things such as volunteering, donating or liking non-profits on Facebook with exclusive celebrity products and work experiences; and all the good you do adds-up on a shareable 'good CV'.

Blue Dots provide money-can't-buy rewards, unique job experiences and recognition on CVs for people supporting any of 9,000 charities in the UK & 100,000 globally. Charities are using them to inspire increased levels of support through donating, volunteering and social media 'sharing'.
Businesses are using them to work alongside their employees, customers and wider public to transform communities, whilst increasing their own loyalty.
Dots are collected in a "CV" that records individuals' good actions and can be displayed to the user's social media network, businesses and other organisations.
Blue Dot World was launched in October 2011, by Chris Ward after he helped raise £480m as a Director for Comic Relief and the legacy of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and then found shoppers in Westfield London Shopping Centre had spent £870m in the same period!
The organisation aims to balance volunteering and philanthropy with consumerism.
The Award: Blue Dot World has been awarded £50,000 to develop the capacity of this new venture and expand the reach of the scheme.
