Age Unlimited is a programme from NESTA developing and trialling new services that allow people in their 50's and 60's to continue contributing to society through work and voluntary activity and keep socially active and networked in their local community so that ageing becomes a positive experience. It's now two years since we first came to NESTA with our working carers network idea. Building on the services that we provide through the Employers for Carers forum, we were looking to develop a model with the London Fire Brigade for an employee carers network which could be tailored and rolled out to other employers in the future.

Thanks to support from NESTA, we're building on this offering by helping older carers extend their working lives and combine their caring and work commitments healthily and productively.
