Ruth Watson

Ruth is Nesta's Programmes and Design Coordinator

Ruth joined Nesta as the Scottish Programmes Intern supporting the Digital Research and Development Fund for Arts and Culture in Scotland and Age Unlimited Scotland. Ruth's role is to create elegant design solutions for workshops, services and outputs summarising the conclusions of previous projects.

Ruth believes that innovative design has an important role in tackling social and economic problems. It is through experimentation and collaboration that innovation occurs.

Ruth holds a MDes in Design of Services and Thinking and a BDes(Hons) in Metal Design. Ruth has also worked with service design company Snook and Brightsolid Online Publishing.
