Market functioning

Smaller investors have shown themselves to be early adopters of social investing.

They appear to experience fewer problems understanding investment opportunities that blend social mission and business approaches. They also seem to cope with the paradox of acting like investors, knowing their funds may turn out to be philanthropic by accepting extremely high risk and tolerating uncertainty.

We’re commissioning a series of research projects exploring and characterising social investor motivations in greater depth.
