Playmakers is an experimental learning project that encouraged participation in games – from design and development right through to play and engagement.
Throughout the project, anyone was able to contribute to the development of the game, Scoop!, in an open design process, which involved online interaction and play-testing at ten different events.
The Playmakers team, NESTA, Hide & Seek, and Think Public, developed launched Scoop! in London at the end of July 2009.
The project was documented by filmmakers at Think Public, who produced a series of short films throughout the project.
