idiscover aims to help today’s young people develop the skills and talents needed to face the uncertain and challenging world of tomorrow and explore ways to increase the innovative capacity of young people.
idiscover Highlands and Islands is working with the whole S2 year group in Plockton, Portree and Ullapool High Schools and the whole S1 and S2 year group in Gairloch High School.The programme is working in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Highland Council, Learning and Teaching Scotland with support from the Scottish Government.
Young people have the opportunity to take part in eleven idiscover days. On each idiscover day the timetable is suspended and participants have a choice of three to eight learning experiences.
