To provide a context for the Digital Makers programme we will be running a series of informal webchats and workshops with representatives from Nesta, Nominet Trust and Mozilla.
The purpose of these events is to help potential partners understand in more detail what the Digital Makers programme is aiming to do and how to get involved. The events will also provide information about the Digital Makers Fund, its aim and ambition, and offer an opportunity to ask questions and network with others.
These events will last a maximum of 1½ hours and will run on:
• 29 November, 12:30-2pm – webchat
• 10 December, 12:30-2pm – workshop in London (Nesta, EC4A 1DE)
• 12 December – workshop in Manchester (Mindlab, M4 1HN) SOLD OUT
• 14 December, 12:30-2pm – workshop in Edinburgh (Creative Scotland, EH1 3EG) SOLD OUT
• 10 January, 10-11:30am or 12.30-2pm - webchat
If you are interested in applying for the Digital Makers Fund you must attend either a webchat or a workshop.
We would expect most organisations to have attended a workshop or a webchat before Christmas and ask that you complete an Expression of Interest form before attending.
Register for an event by emailing education@nesta.org.uk stating the date you wish to attend.
