Barnardos is targeting senior executives or managers who are at retirement age, or have been made redundant, to volunteer as mentors for Barnardos staff.
This opportunity will enable older workers to continue using skills that they have developed over their working lives into retirement and stay active and contributing as they move into retirement.
This opportunity is expected to reduce the likelihood of poor health and wellbeing of retirees and have positive effects on the confidence and productivity of Barnardos staff.
