The Innovation Research Centre is a major initiative to conduct and finance rigorous, leading-edg work on innovation by academics and practitioners.
It is funded by The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Department for Innovation, Business and Skills (BIS), NESTA, and the Technology Strategy Board (TSB). The Centre's work focuses on exploring the broad definition, role, drivers and impact of innovation.
