Laurie Yoler

As Managing Director at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, Ms. Yoler helps entrepreneurs to build strategic alliances, complete M&A transactions and raise capital. Prior to that, Yoler was chief development officer at Intellectual Ventures, exploring invention and investment opportunities in a wide variety of technology areas. Yoler has been an integral part of the development and launch of many new innovations and products, both from within large companies like Visa, Sun Microsystems, and Accenture, and as one of a small group of founders of a new private company starting with a radical idea, like Tesla Motors, DNA Direct, and Packet Design.

Yoler currently serves on the board of advisors of Tesla Motors, the board of directors of the Washington State University Research Foundation (WSURF), the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Board, the advisory boards of DNA Direct (recently acquired by Medco), TiE and SDForum. She previously served on the board of directors of Tesla Motors since its founding, the public company Interactive Investor (until it was acquired by AMP) and the technical advisory board of Index Ventures.
