Tina Strack

Tina joined Nesta in February 2012 and works on the People Powered Health programme, which is working with health organisations across England to create innovative ways of helping people to live well with long term health conditions.

She began her career in Biochemistry before completing a Masters in Health Administration from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Before coming to the UK, she worked in various management roles in the Canadian health service for 10 years including medical administration, service delivery and leading an oncology network.

Tina moved to the UK in 2006 and after a brief stint in the medical communications sector, spent 4 years with the Health Foundation where she managed several national health programmes in the areas of embedding self-management support, implementing shared decision making, system approaches to patient safety and commissioning with the community using value for money analysis.

Tina has a particular interest in quality improvement/service improvement, patient engagement and culture change in the health sector.
