Phil Pyatt

Phil joined NESTA in March 2009 and is responsible for the team's new media development.

Phil has a background working on projects aimed at young people.  Before joining NESTA he ran the Crimestoppers youth programme, developing their youth brand, Shadow CS. He also worked on programmes to reduce knife crime in the UK, including launching an email and text service so that people could pass on information anonymously.

Phil worked in the charity sector for six years, prior to working at NESTA. He also worked for the BBC and Interactive Television.
