Kerry McCarthy

Kerry McCarthy is Head of Knowledge and Learning for the Lab. She is responsible for enabling a wide range of audiences to adapt our insights and evidence.

Before joining NESTA, Kerry spent six years with the Matrix Knowledge Group, where she designed and delivered a range of research and consultancy projects to support more effective delivery of public services. She worked with central and local government, charitable foundations, not-for-profit organisations and private sector providers.

Kerry started her career as a Probation Officer in London; she continues to sit on the Editorial Board of the Probation Journal.

She is also an occasional lecturer in applied criminology.
