Jen Lexmond

Jen is working to understand the impact of Nesta programmes and to develop and share insights and learning across key stakeholder groups. At the moment she is designing and conducting research to inform and evaluate the Innovation in Giving Fund.

Jen's background is in social and policy research, with a focus on social mobility, family policy and early intervention, and gender inequality.  At the think tank Demos Jen led research in these areas using a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods including ethnography and longitudinal analysis.

She has published numerous books, pamphlets, and reports aimed at policy and practitioner audiences.  She has also worked in a consultancy capacity with a number of organisations including Participle and the Studio Schools Trust. She holds a first class BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
