Alice is responsible for designing and delivering programmes that test radical new ways of supporting and scaling social innovation.
She currently leads the the Neighbourhood Challenge, a major new programme from NESTA, working with the Big Lottery Fund, to support community-led innovation.
This builds on her previous work at NESTA leading the final stages of the Big Green Challenge - a £1m prize fund to incentivise and support community-led innovation in response to climate change.
She has a background in participation and engagement, managing a range of research driven and practical projects at Involve that explored how public involvement in decision making can improve policy responses and public services.

She is Chair of youth-led sustainability charity Otesha and a member of the national palliative care advisory group, people in partnership.
