Ajay Khandelwal

Ajay joined Nesta in April 2011 and works on the People Powered Health programme, which is working with health organisations across England to create innovative ways of helping people to live well with long term health conditions.

Before joining Nesta, Ajay held a number of of front-line, management, commissioning, research and service design roles in the health and social care across the voluntary and statutory sectors. 

Ajay has been a visiting lecturer in Social Theory and Politics and Development at the University of London and City University.

He has a degree from Oxford University, an MA in Sociological Research Methods and a PhD in sociology from Essex University.
