Nicolle Wilkinson

Nicolle joined Nesta in June 2012 where she works on the Innovation in Giving Fund, including leading the Open Innovation programme which is supporting some of the UK's most established charities with national reach to find and adopt innovations to increase their impact. 

Nicolle's career has been in the charity sector, including a background in fundraising, working across a diverse range of revenue streams including corporate, statutory, trust, multi and bi-lateral funding. Most recently Nicolle headed up the Fundraising and Policy teams of the charity Changemakers, where she led on the significant development and diversification of funding alongside establishing the first External Relations team. 

Prior to working at Nesta, Nicolle worked as a consultant leading on a number of medium sized charities through innovation processes. Nicolle spent the early part of her career working in the field of youth-led development, pre-dominantly in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. She holds a first class honours in International Development from Kings College London.
