Alex joined Nesta in 2008 with a primary focus on managing portfolio and new investments in the clean technology sector, as well as interests in the medical technology and hardware sectors.
Alex's responsibilities cover the full range of investment lifecycle, from deal origination and execution to portfolio management and divestment.
Alex has been an active technology investor for over 10 years having previously worked for Foursome Investments (now Frog Capital), a privately backed venture capital firm with a predominant interest in environmental and clean technology sectors. During his early years at Foursome, Alex also made and managed a series of impact investments across the UK.
