Tanya Popeau

Tanya joined Nesta in October 2012 as Interim Learning Manager in Innovation skills.  She is currently responsible for curriculum design and business development, and is primarily focused on the international development space and public sector.

Prior to joining Nesta, Tanya worked at Royal Holloway, University of London in academic curriculum design and programming. Here, she worked with ten departments including History, Politics and International Relations, Media Arts, Modern Foreign Languages, Economics and Management.  

Tanya has developed a range of cross-disciplinary programmes with various industry partners from the private and public sector, and the creative industries. Partners include Mercedes Benz, National Theatre, Proctor & Gamble, BBC, BP, Arsenal FC, D&AD and Oxfam.

Tanya has taught at various levels of education, on a range of courses, including a young offenders and adult education programme and on a graduate scheme in a Malaysian university. She is keen to nurture innovation and enterprise to bring about social regeneration, cultural exchange and economic development.

Tanya has a Masters degree in Research in Education (MRes) from Kings College London.
