Paola Camacho

Paola is the Learning Materials Designer for Nesta's Innovation Skills programme. She works with the team to develop a curriculum for innovation and an on-line learning platform for practitioners in different sectors.

Prior to joining Nesta, Paola worked for the Young Foundation on 'The U' a programme that offers practical learning sessions on basic skills to make a positive change in people's lives, households and community. 

Paola is an Industrial designer from Colombia and has a Master's degree in Service Design from London College of Communication.  During her Master's course, Paola gained valuable research skills and learned how to apply design methods in a broader set of fields. Her Master's included an internship at Carbon Voyage, a company that develops sustainable transport platforms and aims to change travel behaviours by offering more sustainable options to users.

Paola has an interest in Social Innovation and User Experience with a focus on understanding people's behaviours, defining their needs and expectations, in order to design behavioural changes that can improve every-day quality of life.
