Jack joined Nesta in February as Product Manager in the Innovation Skills team, who are focused on producing learning materials, courses and digital services to deliver innovation skills development into Healthcare, Creative Industries and Public Services.
Prior to joining Nesta, Jack spent time launching educational apps as part of the launch team for Magic Town, a virtual world for children based on picture book characters; available on browser, iPad and iOS mobile devices.
Jack has also worked at the National Literacy Trust launching a behavioural change campaign aimed at improving literacy levels in disadvantaged communities. The project reached over 15 million people and was delivered in partnership with brands including ASDA, Unilever, Little Chef and McDonald's.
In his spare time Jack has initiated a number of projects aimed at using sport to engage children in core subjects - maths, english and science; this includes running 160 miles in 10 days visiting primary and secondary schools on route to deliver literacy workshops.
