John Sheldrick is currently a non-executive director of GKN plc and Fenner plc and is also on the board of Catalyst Housing Group.
He was finance director of Johnson Matthey plc for 19 years, retiring in 2009. Prior to that he held senior positions with The BOC Group plc, Spillers Ltd and the International Wool Secretariat.
John is a graduate of Cambridge University where he studied Natural Sciences. He has an MSc. in Management Sciences from Manchester University. John started his career in marketing before moving into finance and has also had board level responsibility for divisional management and research. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
