A a summer networking event with the Rt Hon David Willetts, Minister of State for Universities and Science, Geoff Mulgan, CEO of Nesta and Peter Ainsworth, Chair of the Big Lottery Fund. 

At this event we heard the Minister's views on embedding evidence in the policy making process. It was also a chance to network with other members of the Alliance and 'talk evidence'.  

The Alliance champions the use of evidence in social policy and practice.  It is an open access network of 400 members from across government, charities, business and academia. It is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the Economic and Social Research Council and Nesta.
